Glaucoma Symptoms

Glaucoma is often referred to as the "silent thief of sight" because it can develop without noticeable symptoms in its early stages. Many people may not realize they have glaucoma until significant vision loss has occurred. Common symptoms of glaucoma can include:

• Loss of peripheral (side) vision

• Blurred vision

• Eye pain or discomfort

• Redness in the eye

• Difficulty adjusting to low light

• Halos around lights, especially at night
